Week 3

Ok, this week we are going to get ready to make a video of your "possible road trip" to one place that you choose.

In general what I want you to do is that you record a role play showing the typical things about your neighborhood. It could be the store, the old houses, but presenting it as you were the tour guide and your classmates are the tourist and HAVE TO ASK QUESTIONS.

You can record several clips, just like the one in the video, so that all students appear in the video.

It is a lot of work so you have to create the script, with the tour guide’s comments and the questions of each tourist and you have to practice in class the pronunciation.

Here you have a rubric with the things I’m going to evaluate in the video.

Students needed to be reminded to stay on task frequently.  One or two people did all the work.  Students argued with one another or left some students out of the process.

3-5 points
Video includes a clear statement of purpose.  Events and messages are presented in a logical order, with relevant information that supports the video’s main ideas.
